Proposed Pisgah-Sharon Woods Bike Connector
The WC42C Family and Recreation Committee, OKI, Sharonville, West Chester, and the Hamilton County Park District have reviewed the potential of creating this critical bike/pedestrian connection from Fields Ertel to Sharon Woods. It could provide non-auto travelers new access to get under I-275 to/from Sharonville which enables further non-auto access to Blue Ash, Evendale, Montgomery, and to the planned Sharonville train station and Sharonville

Pisgah Corridor Off Road Scenic Bike Trail Connector

Walt Fick, Cincinnati Cycling Club’s West Chester Wheelman Cluster, explains the importance of identifying connections and destination points when planning bike trails
Excitement is growing for the Scenic Bike Trail Connector that would link more than 10,000 area pedestrians to the Pisgah Corridor.
Bill Goodwin of Real Estate Mortgage Corp says "This will take Pisgah from the 50s and catapult them ahead of everybody else".
A similar "on road" project was rejected five years ago because of traffic safety concerns and it required businesses to give up too much valuable road frontage. Costing some area businesses their last two parking spaces simply wasn't an option.
The off road plan solves these problems by relocating the trail to the scenic buffer behind area businesses. By utilizing ground that is currently unusable by businesses, the trail would link the large residential areas surrounding the corridor to the business district for the first time.
The project will transform the corridor into a unique neighborhood. Several business owners have already pledged to donate right of way and parking. It will finally connect the large number of family/social organizations, businesses and the areas only two bike shops to some densly populated subdivisions.
Still in the early stages of development, the proposed multi use trail would also link to the
Miami 2 Miami Trail which will cross U.S. 42 via Dimmick Road.
